These #photographs are a set of curated camera proofs from the legendary Carlotta's appearance at Perth's Court Hotel in 2006.
This is a rare type of commission for CADT Photography! James' opinion is that in collecting show pics, the combination of uneven or poor lighting + unpredictable movement equals a rate of return that is too low to satisfy perfectionists.
Unlike, more controlled environment event photography where the rate of return can be over 90% with shows you have to spend a lot of time and take heaps of shots to get the good ones that are suitable for publication. Add alcohol to cheap tarts with their boyfriends and you can find yourself in a minefield in a millisecond but I digress!
As you will see from the photos, the presence of Carlotta enticed more than a few Perthonalities to grace the Court with their company and a good time was had by all.
