These are #photographs from a Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, SOPI Berlin, fundraiser in Berlin in 2007.

Above: This is Fagmedia's video footage of the Event!

This was Sister Mary-Jane's Welcome to Berlin and it was the first time they had been officially received as an envoy representing the Order of Perpetual Indulgence of the Abbey of the Black Swan, Perth. OPI Perth.

This OPI Berlin event was a very successful fund raiser for an organisation that provided support services especially food for People Living with HIV/AIDS in Berlin and it was excellent to see the event attended by high profile Folsom Fair VIPS such as Max the Bavarian Mr Leather and the German Mr Leather, Edin Karavic, who we remember as being a very good bloke and very supportive of the HIV+ Community.

Since 2017, The Perth Sisters of the Order of Perpetual Indulgence have made a large number of requests in writing and at the AGMs of the AIDS Industry of WA Groups to reinstate the food relief programs for Food insecure People Living with HIV/AIDS in WA, that have been cut, but have yet to receive a reply to correspondence sent!

As it currently stands while "Friends of the AIDS Industry" Grandstand and engage in PR protests about the alleged homophobia and religious discrimination of Organisations who do provide support services, such as Salvos and Margaret Court's Community Outreach, those same PR protesters ignore the fact that low income LGB, HIV & Trans People are forced to go to agencies such as Margaret Court and the Salvos for food relief because the leaders of LGB, HIV & Trans Community and Organisations such as the WA AIDS Council #WAAC refuse to provide meaningful help for low income and food insecure clients in WA.

Fagmedia would like to thank the Good Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence of Berlin for their kind welcome. A special thanks is given to Mutter Katarina for their kind hospitality given to James and Wayne Ostler during their time in Berlin. It was very much appreciated and remembered.

The Gallery, Above, contains a selection of colour edited images and the curated camera proofs for narrative context and your viewing pleasure.
